This is so easy my 7-year-old made it!
This weekend I was looking through a stack of recipes I have saved. A few small papers fell out and I realized that they were a few of my grandma’s recipes that were passed down to me. My daughter Faith saw the pretty recipe card and asked me what it was and I told her it was a recipe for Marshmallow Cream Fudge. She says, “Let’s make it Mom!”. So we did!
I have made microwave fudge in the past, but this is the first time I actually made fudge that you cook. Well, I HELPED Faith make it. It really was so easy! Faith just got tired with the stirring, so we tag teamed it.
We didn’t even need a candy thermometer. We just timed it at 5 minutes from the time it started boiling and it worked great.
This recipe was from a newspaper clipping, but looks like it probably originated from Milnot. Milnot is still available, but any evaporated milk will do.
It tasted amazing! I loved it when it was still hot. I could barely wait for it to set up.
Make some with your kiddos!
