I’ve tried a few ways to peel hard-boiled eggs, not all. But this is the one that is easiest and works best for me.
When the eggs are done boiling, drain the boiling water, leaving the eggs in the pan.
Run cold water over the eggs until you can handle them with your hands without it burning!
Take each egg out and crack 2-3 times on the counter all around the egg.
Drain the water again, add the eggs back into the pan, and run cold water over them to cover.
Let sit for 10 minutes. Peel EASILY!
This works because the water has a way to seep in under the shell and helps to lift it from the egg.
